On this side of the pond: ATA in San Diego. |
Since most of the details for Judy's European workshop tour have been finalized, we wanted to announce them here. We've been getting a lot of e-mail and Twitter messages asking us about the details, and we figured we'd post them here so you have have a look. We will be traveling together for all these workshops, and we'd love to meet new colleagues and share a meal, drink, or coffee!

I would have loved to attend in September in the UK, but won't be able to as there is a wedding in my family...
As Dagmar lives in Austria, maybe she would be interested in attending the Trikonf (Tri-National Translation Conference) in Freiburg em Breisgau on 18-20 October? (http://trikonf.com)
@Nelia: Thanks for reading and for commenting! Actually, we had very much considered going to that conference (there are so many great speakers, wow!), but unfortunately, we are both flying back to the US on October 13 to spend some time in the States and to attend the annual American Translators Association conference. What a bummer! We are sure the event will be a huge success.
@Nelia: Ah, and sorry to hear you won't make the UK event, but weddings are much more important!
I am not a big fan of weddings actually, but I cannot really escape going to that one! I hope both of you will have a great ATA conference. And by the way, I am planning to attend it in 2014 in Chicago (following Corinne McKay's advice when we met in Paris last year), so I hope I will meet you in Chicago.
@Nelia: In that case: our condolences that you have to go. Should be more fun with a glass of wine. Oh yes, we will definitely be in Chicago for sure! And Corinne is lovely, isn't she?
